Management Team

The Stanbic IBTC Pensions' Management Team is made up of the highest quality people.

Yinka Sanni

Yinka is the Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited. Mr Sanni is a Chartered Stockbroker with extensive experience in Asset Management, Stockbroking, Corporate Finance and Credit & Marketing. Prior to his appointment as CEO of Stanbic IBTC Pensions, Mr. Sanni was the Managing Director of Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited, the Bank's wholly owned Asset Management and Stockbroking subsidiary, which he nurtured from inception in 1996 to become a leading independent Asset Manager/Stockbroking house in Nigeria.


Obinnia Abajue

Obinnia is the Chief Operating Officer of the Company and oversees the Customer Service, Financial Controls and Technology Teams. He is responsible for the design and implementation of the Company’s excellent pension administration and management systems as well as the maintenance of the service quality of the Stanbic IBTC Pensions Solution.

Obinnia was previously Head of Asset Management at Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited where he was responsible for managing the investment portfolios of institutional and high net worth individual clients. He holds a B.Sc in Actuarial Science and an MBA degree from Imperial College London. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Stockbroker, and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

Eric Fajemisin

Eric is the Head of the Investment Management Division at Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited. He holds a Bachelors degree in Politics-Philosophy-Economics (Combined Honours) from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife and an MBA from the University of Lagos, Lagos. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

He is responsible for the investment porfolio of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers and coordinates its marketing strategy nationwide. He has attended several courses on advanced credit and lending skills, investment banking and capital markets and corporate restructuring.


Gbitse Barrow

Gbitse is Head – Human Resources. In this capacity, Gbitse is responsible for ensuring that the employees of the Company are properly engaged and motivated towards achieving the Company’s business objectives. He is also responsible for articulating and developing staff policies in conjunction with the Company’s Executive Management, and implementing these policies on a day to day basis including overseeing the work of the Operating Units within the HR Group. Gbitse also organizes Learning Interventions for staff development. Gbitse is a Graduate of Accounting (University of Lagos), and a Chartered Accountant.

Bunmi Dayo-Olagunju

Bunmi, a Chartered Accountant, is the Head of Fund Administration at Stanbic IBTC Pensions. In this capacity, she plays a pivotal role in business decision support and transaction processing and also deputizes for the Chief Operating Officer in his absence.


Olanike Bajomo

Nike is the Head of Business Development Group at Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Ltd. She holds a Bachelors degree in Philosophy from the University of Ibadan and is also an Associate of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria. Her working experience spans various fields including financial services, technology and international relations.

Prior to joining Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited as Head, Business Development Group, Nike was Head, Sales and Marketing for Pensions Alliance Limited.

Chidi Okezie

Chidi is the Company Secretary and Legal Adviser and thus oversees the Company’s Legal Unit. He is responsible for providing legal opinions and advice in Pension Administration, Investment and Finance transactions. The continuum of advice he offers on the various activities undertaken by the Company, is crucial to the smooth execution of the specialized and intricate transactions handled by Stanbic IBTC Pensions.

Chidi,was the best student in Conflict of Laws (1996), and holds a LLB (Hons.) degree from the University of Lagos and is a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association.


Nkechi Uchendu

As website manager, Nkechi ensures that the company provides on-line real-time internet service which empowers customers to access information on their accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. She is also responsible for ensuring effective cultivation of the company's processes and assuring the maximum benefits from the Company's extensive I.T. investment. She holds a B.A. degree in Business Studies from the University of Westminster and an M.Sc in Computer Studies from the University of Essex, United Kingdom.

Fisayo Ofili

Fisayo is the Company's Head of Sales and is responsible for developing sales strategy for all the regions of the country. Her influence is critical to establishing Stanbic IBTC Pensions as the PFA of choice. Her previous experience includes Internal Audit, Trade Finance, Treasury & Financial Services as well as Relationship Management within the Stanbic IBTC Group.

A Chartered Accountant and Best Graduating Student in her class, Fisayo holds a B.Sc (Hons) Degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Ilorin.


Biodun Olorunishola

Biodun is the Head of Risk Management. He is responsible for consolidating and developing best practice risk management processes of the company and to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines. He acquired a wealth of experience in Banking Operations and was previously the Head of Trade Services in Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc.

Biodun is a Chartered Accountant , Certified Financial Consultant and a graduate of Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife, where he won an award as the best graduating student in Finance Courses in the year 2001.

Niyi Oladunjoye

Niyi is the head of the Company's ICT Unit. He was formerly a key member of the Information Technology Department of Stanbic IBTC Plc. Niyi is responsible for providing IT support and supervising the installation and integration of the Company’s various applications.

An Oracle-certified Professional, Niyi holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan as well as an MBA from the Federal University of Technology, Akure.


Tayo Fayomi

Tayo heads the Company's Compliance Unit. He has a B.Sc in Management and Accounting from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), with over six years of inspection and internal audit experience in the banking industry prior to joining the company.


Seyi Egbarin

Seyi is the Company's Internal Auditor. She is responsible for developing, ensuring and maintaining adequacy of the Company Audit Plans. Processes, Programs and Operating Controls.
She holds a B.Sc in Accounting from the University of Lagos and is a Chartered Accountant.

Ehis Uzenabor

Ehis is a Team Leader in the Investment Management Division at Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited. He holds a Bachelors degree in Insurance from the University of Lagos Akoka. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Howard Edafe

Haward is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He has a background in Accounting and Finance. He presently heads the Investment Operations and Control Unit of StanbicIBTC Pension Managers Limited.
Howard started his career as a chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers Nigeria before joining Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers in 2007.

Steve Adu

A Networking and Hardware specialist with a First Class B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Lagos. Steve is responsible for Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Information Technology Infrastructure; providing I.T support and supervising the installation and integration of the Company’s communication infrastructure nationwide.


Anita Dele-Dickson

Anita Dele-Dickson is the Company's South-South & South-East Regional Manager. She oversees and coordinates the marketing strategy for the region’s business development operations ensuring that performance benchmarks for growth and profitability are met. With her experience in penetrating retail markets, Anita ensures that both public and private sector growth objectives are met and maintained at all times. Anita holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Port Harcourt and an M.Sc. also in Economics from the University of Ibadan.

Tayo Akinsanmi

Tayo Akinsanmi heads the company’s Clients Services Group. He oversees and coordinates the activities of all client facing units. Prior to joining Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, he worked with MTN Nigeria Communications (Customer Service) where he developed and built his Customer Service skills. Tayo holds B.A English from Lagos State University and a Master of Arts degree (English language) from the University of Lagos. He is also an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
